HaVok is an event that goes on every Saturday at Club Middle Earth which is a cumulation of beauty, art, and music. Not just one type of music either, they bring you a blend of the best of the best in darkness. This event is to help raise funds for Oni-Con 2006. Convergence 12 will feature live Gothic/Industrial music, fashion shows, a vendors' bazaar, and more. Hurricane Katrina severely impacted our city and its people, but your attendance will help us rebuild the art and culture of New Orleans. The French Quarter is completely clean and rebuilt and the C12 website has some anwers to MANY faq's about the city's condition. This is an Independent Comic Artist convention that will hold the future of comics as you know it. In its second year Staple has already had to move to a large venue, one that can hold 50 vendors and expect 500 people. The door fee is only $5 and that lets you participate in all the panels going on, meet up and coming artists, and shop to your hearts content. We will be sharing a booth with MechBun Artist Thomas Patrick Reidy III and MissMonster. Thomas will have lots of things available including a color sketchbook with a custom sketch on the last page just for you. Get him to draw whatever you want in the book you purchase. MissMonster will be in her full demon costume and will have purses, monster dolls, shirts and more for sale. We will have clothes, Baby-Tees and Monster Pillows. The Baby Tees are being featured at the show so be the first to get one and DONT pay shipping!!!
